JOB REQUIREMENTS: Run Maintain and repair all mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Assist with Motion Control, PLC, MMI, and HMI programming, troubleshooting, and repair Install electrical components such as conduit, wiring, motor controls, starters, VFD, and soft starts Dismantle machinery and equipment, locate cause of malfunctioning or mechanical breakdown, replace parts from sock or fabricate replacement parts as needed Fabricate machine components for repairs and improvements of mechanical devices Effectively conduct and assess diagnostic tests to ensure optimum system functionality Assemble, install, and proactively maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment for efficient operation Operate arc welder, cutting torch, hand tools, forklift, and welding truck Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as needed Rig, lift, and move heavy equipment Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area Work may consist of various shifts and overtime including weekends and holidays during busy production times Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Design new equipment to aid in the repair or maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, or building structures. Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. Align and balance new equipment after installation. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. Provide groundskeeping services, such as landscaping or snow removal. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
