Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the SAFE handling, fitting, welding, grinding, and properly tagging of product being bent on the press brake.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Interpreting engineering drawings

· Fitting and welding parts for jobs to specifications

· Properly tagging completed work with required information.

· Follow all SOP's and JSA's

· Operation of forklifts and hoists

· Checking quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity

· Other tasks as instructed by Supervision

Qualifications:

Education: Highschool or GED, Vo-Tech/Trade School (preferred)

Experience: 1-2 Years industrial/manufacturing environment

Specific Skills: Welding, Forklift (preferred)

Certifications:

Physical Abilities: Standing/Bending full shift, lifting up to 50lbs, exposure to loud noises may require hearing protection, Exposure to chemicals and fumes may require use of respirator, various sheet metal products may require specific PPE protection, communication with others, some repetitive motion
