Abound Health Group, LLC Program Specialist in Mercer, Pennsylvania

Abound Health is seeking a Program Specialist to join our Mercer, PA team. In this role, you will report to the Program Director. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of day, residential, and other licensed programs while promoting the well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines for Community Homes and Adult Training Facilities

  • Serve as the expert for licensing bodies, managing inspections, audits, and action plans

  • Conduct and document clinical and supervisory visits to ensure top-quality care and staff empowerment

  • Review client service notes and documentation to guarantee accuracy and compliance

  • Create personalized goals, task analyses, and interventions to support the client's potential.

  • Inspire and develop the team through training, performance evaluations, and coaching.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to behavioral emergencies and provide direct support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in IDD services OR a Master’s in Social Work with IDD internship/experience

  • Deep understanding of 6400, 2380, and 6100 Regulations preferred.

  • Strong communication skills to connect with clients, families, and team members.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and composure.

  • Strong advocacy skills to connect clients and families with community resources

    Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university required

    Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Pay: Is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay.
