Tina's Taxi & Delivery Logistics Specialist & Fleet Care Coordinator in Mercer, Pennsylvania
We are looking for a highly organized Logistics Specialist & Fleet Care Coordinator to serve as the heartbeat of our daily operations. In this dual-purpose role, you'll be talking with passengers, scheduling and dispatching rides, as well as ensuring our mobile workspaces (our vans) are pristine, fully equipped, and ready to deliver top-tier service. You are the bridge between our drivers in the field and the logistics that keep them moving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule daily routes for maximum efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming callers, providing a professional first impression of the company.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to accommodate emergencies or delays.
- Perform frequent audits of vans to ensure all amenities and supplies are present.
- Conduct regular interior and exterior inspections/cleanings to maintain a professional brand image.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, and logistics, preferred.
- An eye for detail and a belief that "organized is efficient".
- Willingness to be active, move inventory, and perform light cleaning of vehicles.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency with GPS/Google Maps
- Excellent communication skills and concise coordination between drivers and management to ensure expectations are met.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly via phone, text, or in person.
