ManpowerGroup Senior CNC Machinist in Mequon, Wisconsin
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the precision machining industry, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to join their team. As a Senior CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Machining Department supporting engineering, quality, and production. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a high level of technical machining expertise.
Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist (1st & 2nd Shifts Available)
Location: Mequon, WI
Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr
What’s the Job?
Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software and G‑code
Set up and run complex multi-axis equipment (4th/5th axis, live tooling lathes)
Troubleshoot advanced machining, tooling, and fixture issues
Inspect and validate parts using CMMs and manual gauges; lead first-article processes
Recommend and implement tooling and process improvements
What’s Needed?
5–7 years of CNC machining experience, including setup and programming
Proficiency with CAM software and G‑code development
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
Experience training and mentoring machinists or operators
Ability to independently solve complex machining and tooling challenges
