Duties and responsibilities include:
- [Processing pay-ins for all receivables and preparing bank deposits. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Creating invoices, collecting and tracking payments and special assessment referrals. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Processing purchase order requisitions for all City Departments. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Assisting with payroll and accounts payable duties]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Maintaining inventory records for all departments requisitions and uploading onto the asset software. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Filing archived documents and maintaining the tracking system. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Aiding the zoning department with calls, questions, and complaints. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Uploading Land Use, Code Enforcement and complaints into the zoning software and assigning to the proper individuals. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Receiving and fielding phone calls and visitor inquiries for City Hall when the Administrative Assistant is away.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Filling in as a Clerk for various boards and commissions when necessary. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
Qualifications:
- [High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, business administration, or public administration preferred. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Two (2) years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll support, or general municipal finance preferred. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and interruptions in a busy environment]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Capable of delivering professional and courteous customer service when handling resident concerns and zoning questions.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
- [Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other city departments.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
