*POSITION SUMMARY *The Wastewater Preventative Maintenance Supervisor oversees preventative maintenance operations for buildings, structures, and process equipment at a wastewater treatment facility. The position manages maintenance staff, coordinates preventative maintenance schedules, and ensures equipment, machinery, and facilities remain in safe and reliable operating condition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily preventative maintenance operations and maintenance staff.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate maintenance activities and staff assignments.
- Prioritize and schedule preventative, corrective, and grounds maintenance work.
- Maintain records of plant equipment maintenance schedules, inspections, and reconciliation reports.
- Troubleshoot plant equipment and machinery operating conditions.
- Ensure equipment, machinery, and structures remain in good operating condition to minimize failures and maintain productivity.
- Order parts, tools, and maintenance supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
- Train employees on maintenance procedures, safe work practices, and operational protocols.
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees and conduct internal training sessions on updated maintenance procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required.
Valid Ohio driver's license with a safe driving record.
Ability to pass required drug screening.
Supervisory experience in maintenance operations.
