STERIS CORPORATION Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Multiple Positions) in Mentor, Ohio
STERIS Corporation seeks multiple Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Multiple Positions) to identify, justify, propose and oversee the implementation of manufacturing equipment or processes to support defined targets for safety, quality, delivery and cost. Propose, support and participate in continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost. Assist with the launch of new products or product improvement projects. Develop and lead the development of production techniques and standard work for manufacturing processes. Monitor other engineers, technical or process support positions in accordance with the company's engineering systems, medical device manufacturing requirements, lean manufacturing procedures, and quality systems requirements.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any) or related field of study and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Applicants must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Support the manufacturing of sterilization machines used in operating rooms, ambulatory surgical centers, emergency rooms, clinics, hospital and laboratories; Medical devices and manufacturing workflow for medical devices; Welding Technical Specifications, pressure welding methodologies, designs, and materials for medical devices; and Devised new welding technologies and sterilization machines.
