Position Summary TheLogistics Coordinatoris responsible for all freight claims as well as supporting other basic transportation requirements of the department. This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH location 3 days/week. What You'll do as a Logistics Coordinator File, log, and research all freight claims, as well as process claim checks. Review carrier exception reports for potential claim resolution. Compile the daily numbers as it pertains to claims and shipments. Compile and post the charts for the SQDC board. Identify root cause and counter measures for freight claim issues. Document preparation as required. Log and maintain STERIS Delivery issues, as well as assist in identifying root causeand countermeasures. Categorize Monthly Delivery issue survey results. Obtain Proof of Deliveries at the end of STERIS' quarter as needed. Manage the daily zero freight, field scrap & trade in's reports. Review & Research Closed RMA Report. Aid with other department duties as required. The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed Required High School Diploma/GED Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as,havecompetenttyping capabilities Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively and tactfullyinteract with customers and others at all levels of the organization and at outside agencies Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities What STERIS Offers We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that support your health, well-being, and financial future. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
