Burgess & Niple, Inc. Bridge Engineer in Mentor, Ohio
Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a *Bridge Engineer *to join our team in our Mentor, Akron, or Erie office.
B&N Bridge Engineer Responsibilities:
- Preparing technical designs on transportation projects
- Mentoring/coaching junior staff on transportation design
- Developing unique and complex solutions to bridge problems for projects and pursuits
- Meeting with clients with CSMs in developing scopes and fees
- Managing tasks and technical designs on projects
- Working with other offices in future pursuits and projects
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
- PE registration is preferred
- 5-10 years of related bridge design experience
- Good communication skills, organization skills, team player, and detail oriented
- Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD plan development
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills
