Area Temps, Inc. Assembly Operator in Mentor, Ohio

A manufacturing company is seeking Assembly Operators to ensure products are assembled to meet quality standards. You will work Monday through Friday 10-hour shifts during the day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate hoist lift to flip products and move material using pallet jack or forklift
- Apply caulk to painted parts
- Assemble different components into final assemblies according to instructions or training
- Inspect components and sub-assembly for quality assurance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work areas, as well as, all equipment used in the department
- Complete all documentation accurately
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- *Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment. *
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and A-Frame Hoist
- Must be able to follow instructions and complete all paperwork accurately and on time
- Must have the ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and keep all equipment running smoothly
- Must be efficient, quality driven, able to pay a strong attention to detail, have physical stamina, and able to work in a 2-to-3-person team in order to complete tasks on time
- The ability to clock in and out of jobs accurately and efficiently is required
- Must have safety glasses and steel toed boots
- Must have a willingness and be open to training
