Kohl's Senior People Analytics Analyst (On-Site) in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
About the Role
As a Senior People Analytics Analyst, you will enable informed workforce decisions by delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful insights. You will analyze workforce data and provide objective analysis, context, and recommendations that support leaders in determining appropriate actions related to engagement, retention, workforce planning, diversity, and talent development.
What You’ll Do
Deliver clear, objective People Analytics insights that support leaders in evaluating options and determining actions
Analyze workforce trends and drivers related to engagement, development, retention, demographics, recruiting, and workforce planning
Consult with HR and business stakeholders to define research questions, analytical approaches, and success measures aligned to business needs
Conduct advanced analytics, including predictive, diagnostic, and scenario-based analyses, to inform strategic and operational discussions
Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across multiple workforce data sources and provide data-backed interpretation
Develop dashboards, reports, and executive-ready presentations that present insights, trade-offs, and implications
Provide industry benchmarks and external context to help leaders interpret internal workforce trends
Ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant use of people data, including data privacy, security, and bias considerations
Apply data governance best practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and trust
Automate and streamline recurring analyses and reporting to improve efficiency and scalability
Collaborate with HR, IT, and vendors to improve data accessibility, reliability, and analytical capabilities
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to analysts by sharing best practices in analytics, data interpretation, and storytelling
Support the continuous improvement of People Analytics tools, methods, and processes

What Skills You Have
Required
4+ years of experience in analytics, with a focus on people/workforce analytics, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Workday reporting, and advanced Excel
Strong experience with data visualization and storytelling tools (e.g., Tableau, Visier, or similar)
Working knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and analytical methods
Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and objectively to non-technical audiences
Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., I/O Psychology, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science)
Experience working with Workday HCM and related HR processes, including report development
Familiarity with data preparation and analytics tools such as Alteryx
Experience analyzing HR, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Finance data, preferably in retail or large service-based organizations
Exposure to workforce forecasting, experimentation, or advanced statistical techniques
