TEKsystems Clinical Technician / Customer Service Representative in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
The Role
Join our Menomonee Falls branch as a Clinical Technician/CSR supporting Respiratory Therapists and patients. You’ll split your time between in‑branch customer service and (after training and conversion) on‑site equipment setup at hospitals, assisted living facilities, and patient homes. You’ll educate patients and caregivers on how equipment works, troubleshoot issues, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
Travel: Local, company vehicle provided once direct (1–2 hours max on travel days)
What You’ll Do
In‑Branch (CSR)
Answer inbound calls, place outbound follow‑ups, and respond to email in a timely, professional manner
Create orders, verify information from referrals, and schedule patient equipment deliveries per physician orders
Process orders, route inquiries appropriately, and complete callbacks to ensure resolution
Maintain accurate records and complete company/insurance/government forms (delivery tickets, safety checklists, instruction/cleaning forms, patient booklet receipts, etc.)
Field (Clinical Technician) (after training/once direct)
Set up, instruct, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, nebulizers, etc.) for patients and caregivers
Explain financial responsibility (patient vs. insurance) and basic insurance concepts in plain language
Provide hands‑on demonstrations, answer “how it works” questions, and escalate clinical matters to RTs as appropriate
Deliver empathetic, patient‑centered service with professionalism and patience
Training & Support
Hands‑on, management‑led training (approx. 1 month) on medical equipment and internal systems
Ongoing coaching from Respiratory Therapists, Program Managers, and branch leadership
You do not need prior medical equipment experience—we will teach you
Must‑Have Qualifications
1–3 years of office‑based customer service/administrative experience in medical, insurance, or office/clinic settings
Medical or clinical exposure (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, insurance verification, clinic front desk)
Direct one‑on‑one customer interaction experience
Confident, clear communicator—able to explain equipment operation, troubleshoot basic issues, and outline patient vs. insurance financial responsibility
Technical aptitude and attention to detail; comfortable learning new systems
Demonstrated empathy and patience working with customers
Physical Demands
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Safely assist patients to a seated position, as needed
Work Environment & Attire
Primary work at Menomonee Falls branch; field visits to hospitals/assisted living facilities once direct
Business casual, closed‑toe shoes; scrubs also acceptable
Field frequency varies with patient needs (could be as little as once/week or multiple times/day)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
