JOB REQUIREMENTS: Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team and will be accepting applications for an E&I Technician. This will be a Shift E&I (12-hour rotating shift) position. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment in support of all assets and equipment. Performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to improve mill uptime/run ability, assemble and install new machinery and equipment and other duties as assigned. Ability to read and interpret machine drawings. Proficient in DCS troubleshooting. Drive hardware and communications equipment troubleshooting and board level replacement. Calibration and maintenance of all tagged field instrumentation. Be able to troubleshoot field devices using technology such as Delta-V, Allen-Bradley PLC\'s. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A valid journeyman card, indicating successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program. A journeyman\'s certification is preferred but we will consider equivalent experience without certifications. A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility, particularly with respect to safety and environmental policies and procedures. Four (4) years of experience in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years in an industrial environment. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Solid computer skills and experience with electronic work orders. Self-directed. Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills. Must be willing to meet the following requirements: Available to work varying hours that may include shift, weekends and holidays. Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and respond to emergency call-ins. Able to work both independently and as a part of the team. Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
