Meta Director of Treasury Technology, Controls & Infrastructure in Menlo Park, California
Summary:
Meta’s Treasury team partners closely with the company’s cross-functional leaders to deliver Treasury services focused on strategic value creation. Our team interfaces with a multitude of business partners and financial institutions to deliver innovative solutions at scale.We are seeking a treasury leader to drive the technology, systems, and controls that enable treasury operations, while also influencing industry standards and shaping the future of treasury practice. This is a high-impact global role for someone who combines treasury expertise—cash, payments, liquidity, and risk—with modernizing systems, implementing AI and automation, and setting industry benchmarks.This leader will own the roadmap for treasury systems and banking systems infrastructure, design process frameworks and controls, and lead initiatives that leverage AI and automation to move toward highly automated treasury operations and insights. This role will work closely with internal teams and banking partners to ensure integration, reliability, and performance of all treasury technology and processes to enable better, faster, and safer treasury decisions.

Director of Treasury Technology, Controls & Infrastructure Responsibilities:
Lead treasury technology and infrastructure: Own the roadmap, integration, and business performance of treasury systems and banking connectivity
Design process frameworks and controls: Develop and enforce treasury process standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance measures
Drive highly automated treasury operations: Lead initiatives leveraging AI, automation, and next-generation technology to reduce manual intervention and enable real-time treasury processes
Monitor performance: Build dashboards and reporting to provide transparency into system performance, operational efficiency, and process compliance
Collaborate across teams: Partner with cash management, liquidity, markets, engineering, and finance teams to deliver seamless, secure, and efficient treasury processes
Influence the industry: Represent the organization in industry forums, working groups, and partnerships to share best practices, shape standards, and influence treasury technology evolution globally
Manage vendor and banking relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for system or infrastructure-related matters with banks and external providers
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Technology related discipline
12+ years experience in treasury digital transformation programs with 5+ years in leadership positions
Experience in Open Banking, fintech, or emerging treasury technology solutions
Demonstrated understanding of cash management, payments, liquidity, and treasury risk, combined with technology and controls expertise
Strategic thinker that will lead treasury teams through systems, processes, and controls
Effective communication and collaboration skills with experience managing internal teams and external vendors/banks to align on requirements, timelines, testing and implementation activities
Experience presenting to executive leadership

Master’s degree in Finance or Technology related discipline
Experience providing technology solutions for In-house Banking structures
Experience with Treasury Management Systems (ie. FIS Quantum), Oracle Accounting, FX trading and settlement, Investment Accounting/Custody, Payments and other financial technology products
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Public Compensation:
$219,000/year to $288,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
