Meta Deployments Operations Manager in Menlo Park, California
Summary:
Meta is seeking an Operations Manager to support the global rollout of infrastructure, focusing on logistics and deployment planning for data center hardware worldwide. The role requires building partnerships with internal business partners, supporting organizational scaling, managing escalations, rolling out tooling, coordinating execution activities, and ensuring operational efficiency in a multi-X growth environment. The candidate will mentor and grow processes, operate complex programs, maintain engagement with multiple stakeholders, and envision future systems and processes to meet evolving customer needs. This high-visibility position is responsible for driving large-scale execution and transformations, as well as interfacing with leadership.

Deployments Operations Manager Responsibilities:
Engage with internal customers and gain understanding of their current and future needs. Shape the customer-facing vision of the team and roadmap internal activities in support of the vision
Support the Deployment team in line with Meta and IBOS strategic priorities, including end-to-end global program development, identification and oversight of strategic priorities, continuous improvement, development, standardization, and implementation of processes, tooling and training
Strategic decision maker for Deployment support across people, process and systems. Enable standardization and scaling of current processes. Proactively monitor, manage, and report on execution of deliverables
Formalize and standardize data analysis and coordination across IBOS and XFN, which includes, budgeting, planning, fulfillment, finance & transportation, to mitigate and manage risk. Determine optimal supply chain execution through quantitative and qualitative analysis
Develop standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize deployment efficiency
Collaborate with XFN teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize hardware fulfillment and develop / scale operational management practices
Assess the supply chain costs that are directly attributed to the support of different programs to provide a better understanding of how current priorities affect performance across the supply chain
Support developing and implementing tools, processes and systems for tracking, analyzing, and reporting inventory
Enable effective operational performance & execution across Meta’s multi-echelon supply chain
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management or in finance. Other technical education, experience and degrees will be considered based on professional experience
Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and requirement management
Track record of successfully leading initiatives in a geographically distributed cross functional environment
Proven interpersonal and communication skills to bring simplification to complex engagements
Experience on procurement & order fulfillment processes, inventory management, warehousing & service operations
4+ years experience in a matrixed organization. Ability to identify, manage and solve complex problems
4+ years of experience in materials lifecycle management, supply chain management, inventory management, operations, manufacturing, or other work in the areas

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or MBA
Experience in logistics operations in a global high growth environment
Experience dealing with a high degree of ambiguity and driving clarity across teams
3+ years of Excel, VBA, SQL, Hive, Quantitative modeling, or related experience
Public Compensation:
$89,000/year to $135,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
