Clinical Administration Coordinator
Position Overview Reports to the Clinical Administration Manager. The Clinical Administration Coordinator Supports the administrative workflow tasks for the branches. Works with vendors to ensure branch goals are met.
Essential Functions and Skills Responsibilities
Daily, weekly, monthly reporting-Visits, admissions, Medical Supply, Durable Medical equipment, Pharmacy. Various Compliance audits- including Admission paperwork, HOPE scheduling.
Patient billing review- Including Part D audits.
Insurance authorization- Commercial, Medicaid and VA.
Manage referrals to external vendors-Physical Therapy, Wound Care.
Manage account access for various vendors- Pharmacy, Medical Supply, Office Supply, Durable medical Equipment, Postal, Pharmaceutical waste.
Administrative support to all branches-including monitoring outstanding physician orders, Billing hold review-work with branches to ensure HCHB workflow is completed to ensure timely billing.
Work with organizational departments including finance, intake, clinical and others as needed.
Special projects and other related duties as assigned by the Manager of Clinical Administration.
Accountable for compliance with all HIPAA, CMS, CHAP and CAHPS regulations and standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 1 year experience in health care data entry.
Computer experience- Excel, Microsoft teams/Outlook.
Demonstrates good communication skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to pass DHS background study.
Preferred
Associate’s degree in business, communications, healthcare or related field.
EMR and HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred.
The hourly base range for this role is $25.00-$26.75. This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
