Job Duties
Hudson Refrigerated Logistics is the upper Midwest’s specialist in refrigerated LTL services as a privately-owned and operated business for more than 50 years.
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of refrigerated and frozen goods, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional logistics services to our customers.
Responsibilities
• Operate trucks with automatic transmission and refrigerated trailers safely and efficiently.
• Deliver freight to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated items.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to optimize routes for timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and refrigerated units.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with load & unload procedures for freight.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools.
