(FTI) is currently seeking a Senior Controls Engineer in the R&D Group to join our Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. As a Senior Controls Engineer in the R&D group, you will be responsible for developing control systems in a physics-based modeling and simulation environment for electrical, thermal, and mechanical systems used in distributed energy resources and power distribution. Collaborating with subject matter experts, product strategy teams, and systems engineers, you will create accurate and efficient control systems, optimization, and analytics algorithms to support technologies and products development within the Product Engineering organization. You will play a key role in driving innovation and performance improvements in distributed energy and power distribution systems. Advanced degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with demonstrated background in controls theory preferred.
