Aerotek Visual Inspector in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Title: Visual Inspector

Job Description

The Visual Inspector will work in the In-Row Heat Exchange department, performing visual inspections to ensure product quality and safety. Candidates must be proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP. This role requires flexibility to move between work cells and involves mandatory data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of products, components, or materials to detect defects or inconsistencies.

  • Take and upload pictures of the product to the company system.

  • Edit and update check sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Monitor, respond to, and escalate quality issues as necessary.

  • Enter material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails.

  • Assist with audits as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.

  • Experience in manufacturing quality control and assurance.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and basic knowledge of SAP.

  • Ability to recognize discrepancies in photo evidence.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Visual inspection experience is highly valued.

Work Environment

The position is based in an extremely clean and temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with potential expansion into a 3 million square foot campus. The work schedule is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Composite shoes are mandatory, and no additional certifications are needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
