Job Title: Visual Inspector (Weekend 1st Shift)
Job Description
This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure product quality and safety through visual inspection. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP, and will have strong data entry skills. You should be prepared to move between different workstations, take and upload product photos, recognize discrepancies, and update necessary documentation. Handling quality issues and assisting with audits are also part of this role.
Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of products to ensure quality and safety.
Comfortably use Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP for data entry and documentation.
Capture and upload photos of products, recognizing and documenting any discrepancies.
Edit and update check sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor, respond to, and escalate quality issues as needed.
Enter material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails.
Assist with audits as required.
Work flexible hours, including some Saturdays, aligning with production team schedules.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP.
Experience in manufacturing quality, quality assurance, and quality control.
Strong visual inspection skills.
Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in precision machine or sheet metal.
Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.

Work Environment
Work in an extremely temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with the potential to grow into a 3 million sqft campus. Composite shoes are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
