Job Title: Travel Safety Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Safety Specialist with strong experience in construction safety and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. This role will serve as the secondary safety representative on construction sites , supporting the enforcement of safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety across all job locations.
Responsibilities
Oversee and enforce safety protocols on active construction sites.
Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards .
Provide safety training, coaching, and guidance to construction workers and site personnel.
Prepare, maintain, and submit safety reports, logs, and documentation.
Respond to and investigate safety incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Assist the primary safety lead with ongoing safety initiatives and site coordination.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety supervision on construction sites.
OSHA 500 Certification (required) .
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge in construction or construction safety coordination.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, outdoor construction environment.
Per Diem
- $100 per diem available for contractors located more than 75 miles from the job site .
Work Environment
Work is performed outdoors on active construction sites .
Strict adherence to safety standards and protocols is required at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
