Aerotek Test Operators (1st Shift) in Memphis, Tennessee
Job Description
Join our team as a Test Operator and play a pivotal role in supporting units through in-process and final testing. You will assist with testing, training, and documentation to ensure quality and efficiency in our operations.
Shift:
Current - 6:30AM-3PM Monday -Friday plus OT on SAT
Responsibilities
Perform testing on electrical components of control panels using voltmeters and ohmmeters.
Test heat exchange units in the mostly automated In Row Heat Exchange department.
Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose faults based on client metrics.
Report compliance using Excel and collaborate with electrical assembly technicians to resolve issues.
Assist in building and manufacturing fixtures and tooling to meet customer expectations.
Essential Skills
Proficient knowledge of schematics and current flow.
Experience in electronics, electromechanical, or electrical testing in manufacturing.
Capability to operate a personal computer with a Windows-based operating system.
Ability to read and interpret schematics or prints.
Understanding of AC/DC and switch gears.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience or technical, vocational, or associate degree.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Competency in basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Work Environment
Work in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled environment with a quiet team-oriented culture. The electrical assembly area features 11 cell stations with large working areas. Dress code includes composite toe or steel toe shoes with rubber soles, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or polo. Avoid large jewelry, spandex, and exposed midriffs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
