What you´ll do
The SHE Specialist will administer and maintain all Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE), and sustainability programs at the Memphis facility to ensure regulatory compliance, operational consistency, and alignment with Henkel SHE standards.
This role maintains a strong on-the-floor presence, leads employee training and engagement, and drives continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental performance, and sustainability, including environmental compliance and permitting requirements.
Ensure full compliance with applicable OSHA and environmental regulations and maintain working knowledge of Henkel SHE standards and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 management system requirements.
Own all environmental compliance activities, including permitting, regulatory reporting, and interactions with regulatory agencies.
Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Manage SHE and environmental data, performance metrics, and routine reporting requirements.
Conduct audits, assessments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Integrate SHE and environmental requirements into daily operations and collaborate with site leadership on operational improvement efforts.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor’s degree in safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field preferred.
Experience leading comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations, as well as OSHA and other safety and health regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing environmental compliance, permitting, and sustainability initiatives.
Ability to engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.

The salary for this role is $75,000.00- $95,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
