Entry Level Engineer
Job Description
The Engineer will support the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems. The role ensures performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the production site. The focus will be on assisting the Industrial Engineer in maintaining layouts and data in IE-related systems.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing time studies and estimates.
Update site and project layouts as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
Update key process maps and process data.
Maintain the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB).
Enter configuration data into SAP, including Bill of Materials and part master data.
Input configuration data into the Manufacturing Execution System, such as routes, steps, and process times.
Standardize processes across the site under global, regional, and site directives.
Support the Lean organization by maintaining data integrity for process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology
Knowledge of industrial engineering tools like work measurement, process mapping, and facility design
Experience with mechanical assembly, kitting, and Kanban systems

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
