Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Assembler, where you will be responsible for wiring control panels from scratch. This role is ideal for a Level 1 Technician with familiarity in electrical schematics, wiring, and assembly. You will be trained to wire specific portions of control panels in an assembly line style for volume production. Your role will require you to read tape measures, perform math skills, and carry out precise layout and drill procedures. A strong understanding of electrical control theory is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Wire control panels from scratch.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Assemble and install electrical components.

  • Perform precise layout and drill out procedures.

  • Wiring of Op-stations and control panels.

  • Perform quality assurance on assembled components.

Essential Skills

  • Familiarity with wiring, schematics, and panel wiring.

  • Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.

  • Understanding of electrical control theory.

  • Capability to perform quality assurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience as an electrical helper or from a technical school.

Work Environment

Work in a well-organized, temperature-controlled environment at a single workstation. This role involves limited physical movement, focusing on precision and quality at your station. The schedule is generally from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime options available. Fridays end at 3:30 PM, and optional Saturday shifts are from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
