Position Title:
East FPA/Strategy Deployment Analyst
Pay Rate:
$93,400 - $124,500
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial rewards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:
Responsible for supporting the analytics needed for the execution of strategy deployment, tracking of commercial, productivity, & optimization initiatives, analysis of performance trends and gaps, capital investment analysis, FP&A (month end, forecast, budgeting) and integration of former DSS facility financials/reporting.
Strategy Execution & Deployment:
Support the development of key strategic initiatives with data analytics to assist in identifying opportunities
Support initiative builds through EBITDA build tool (upload and analysis, monthly, quarterly and year over impact calculations); Analytics to validate savings
Support the analysis for the East MBR (to include Earnings bridges, EBITDA Build prep, KPI Scorecard)
Business Optimization & Cost Efficiency
Track impact of continuous improvement and Lean initiatives on cost, productivity, and throughput.
Track and validate savings impacts from initiative owners ( Procurement, Supply Chain etc.)
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Support the development of annual plans, rolling forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
Monthly business review consolidation; Analysis & reporting of key business drivers and performance metrics
Supports strategic initiatives with robust financial modeling and scenario analysis.
DSS financials integration
Commercial & Capital Planning & Investment Analysis
Analyze National and Local commercial opportunities and evaluate for 10Q EBITDA impacts (volume, margin lift/erosion)
Provide analytics from salesforce tool for “Are we winning” in regards to National and Local pipelines
Support analysis of capital project execution, budget compliance, return on investment, and cash flow.
Performance Reporting & Data Analytics
Financial tool development to support improved dashboard and visual management of performance
Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
Strong command of SAP, BI tools (Power BI, AO, Tableau)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency
Strong analytical, written and communication skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and problem solve
3-5+ years of experience
