Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
The Project Engineer supports the project management team by coordinating schedules, tracking material and logistical needs, facilitating communication with subcontractors, and assisting with documentation and reporting. This role ensures that daily project activities run efficiently and align with project timelines and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
Assist with material look-ahead planning, ensuring materials are identified, ordered, and tracked.
Support logistics coordination, including deliveries, storage planning, and on-site movement.
Assist with procurement management, including research, quoting, and tracking purchase orders.
Manage RFIs (Requests for Information), including submission, tracking, and follow-up.
Support CER (Change Event Request) management and documentation.
Help maintain project schedule updates in coordination with the PM team.
Perform progress tracking, collecting field data to update project status.
Provide general subcontractor coordination support, ensuring communication and timely responses.
Assist with third-party inspections scheduling and manage equipment deliveries, FedEx shipments, and maintenance needs.
Assist with device placement coordination for field installations.
Perform site observations and document findings for PM review.
Communicate issues, delays, or coordination needs to the project team.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr.
