Carrier Operations Associate

Pay Rate :

PL 6-8, dependent on experience

Category/Shift :

Salaried Full-Time

Physical Location :

6400 Poplar Avenue

Memphis, TN

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Role is operationally focused, successful candidate will have primary responsibility for managing daily freight auction requests from business stakeholders, securing competitive capacity to support customer deliveries

  • Can operate in a fast-paced team environment

  • Effectively utilize multiple systems with attention to detail

  • Effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders

  • Responsible for brokerage performance management including analysis and reporting, OTD monitoring and communication

  • Assist Motor Carrier Managers with rate management

  • Assist Motor Carrier Managers with sourcing event requirement gathering and implementation activities

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • College degree or equivalent experience required

  • Transportation or Supply Chain experience

  • Experience or understanding of supply chain operations

  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal

  • Proven technical skills – Microsoft Office Applications, SAP, Blue Yonder, TBC

  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic business environment
