Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer – Medical Imaging (Dental)
Immediate Interviews | Hiring This Week | Entry-Level (1+ Year Experience)
Ready to engineer products that improve patient care and push medical imaging forward? We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join a fast‑moving R&D team developing cutting‑edge dental imaging systems—and we’re interviewing right now.
This is a hands-on, design-focused role where your SolidWorks skills, electro‑mechanical mindset, and curiosity will directly impact products used by dental professionals worldwide.
What You’ll Be Building
You’ll design and develop advanced medical imaging products from concept through production—integrating mechanics, optics, and electronics into fully functional, FDA‑compliant systems.
This is not a maintenance or support role. You’ll be:
Creating real products
Building and testing prototypes
Working side‑by‑side with R&D and manufacturing
Seeing your designs go into production
What You’ll Do
Design and document electro‑mechanical medical devices in compliance with ISO & FDA regulations
Develop products from early concept through serial production
Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks (ANSI standards)
Integrate mechanical, optical, and electronic components
Build, test, and refine prototypes based on real data and feedback
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure cost‑effective, scalable designs
Support verification, validation, and manufacturing transfer
Collaborate with European R&D teams and key external suppliers
Contribute to packaging, casting, and enclosure design
Support optical and laser-related mechanical design
Actively participate in cost optimization without sacrificing quality or compliance
What We’re Looking For (Entry-Level Friendly)
BS in Mechanical Engineering
1+ year of hands-on experience (full-time, internship, or co-op acceptable)
Strong SolidWorks skills (3D modeling & drawings)
Working knowledge of electro-mechanical design
Understanding of fluid dynamics
Familiarity with DFM principles
Exposure to medical devices or regulated industries is a plus—but not required
Comfortable working with prototypes and manufacturing teams
Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
Motivated, proactive, and excited to grow
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with optics or laser-based systems
Background in casting, housing, or packaging design
Prior experience supporting products through full life cycle
Collaboration with international engineering teams
Work Environment
Modern, recently renovated facility
Quiet, focused engineering workspace
Hands-on access to labs, testing, and production areas
Collaborative, growth-focused engineering culture
You’ll enjoy a balance of deep design focus and real-world product interaction, surrounded by engineers who care about quality, innovation, and impact.
