Description We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis at our corporate headquarters in Melville, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing the full recruitment cycle to support the opening of new retail locations. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with hiring managers, source top talent, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract candidates with relevant experience, including responding to job advertisements and leveraging industry networks.
• Conduct interviews to assess candidates' suitability for open roles.
• Negotiate salary offers and other employment terms with potential hires.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance and streamline the hiring process.
• Support the recruitment efforts for multiple open positions, including roles in the retail industry.
• Provide a seamless onboarding experience for new team members, ensuring all necessary paperwork and processes are completed.
• Utilize Spanish language skills to communicate effectively with a diverse candidate pool, when applicable.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and recruitment practices to continuously improve hiring strategies. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong expertise in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
• Proficiency in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates' skills and cultural fit.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and maintaining organized recruitment records.
• Excellent negotiation skills for discussing compensation and employment terms.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred to support diverse hiring needs.
• Knowledge of recruitment practices within the retail or food store industry is a plus. TalentMatch®
