ELC Beauty LLC seeks a Director, Digital Engineering in Melville, NY. Job Duties: Design and deploy advanced digital manufacturing, automation, and AI-driven process improvement solutions across manufacturing and distribution systems in the company's global value chain organization. Enable and integrate Industrial IoT, advanced robotics, manufacturing execution systems (MES), digital systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) to drive operational efficiency, predictive analytics, and smart factory capabilities on a global scale. Lead the design and execution of future state digitally enabling instrumentation, predictive analytics systems, enabling machine learning-driven process optimization, predictive maintenance, and real-time decision-making. Establish data capture specifications and requirements for all "Smart Factory/DC" systems and equipment to maximize analytics leveraging. Architect and integrate digital tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP) and connected worker support systems to maximize efficiency. Develop and deploy full-scale smart factory governance, ensuring seamless integration of cloud-based analytics, edge computing, and connected automation solutions. Work with stakeholders to develop game engine physics / discrete event simulations and modeling tools / capability (digital Twin) to support iterative process design and end to end process optimization. Collaborate with manufacturing leaders, engineers, and IT teams to refine digital strategies that support overall business goals and create the factory of the future. Ensure effective process management via developing and sustaining uniform digital governance across the value chain. Identify digital transformation project specs / performance requirements and supporting project plans ensuring system meets ROI and operational expectations.Job Requirements: Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering or a related field or foreign equivalent and three years of experience as a supervisor or Manager in an Industrial Engineering capacity or related occupation. Experience must include working in digital transformation, automation, and AI-driven industrial application; Working in digital manufacturing, IIoT, AI/ML applications in manufacturing, robotics, automation, and process optimization; Deploying AI-driven predictive analytics, digital twins, and connected factory solutions; Working with business finances, DCF models, IRR calculations to support technology risk/benefit analysis; Utilizing cloud-based analytics, industrial cybersecurity, and smart factory infrastructure; and Working with multinational corporations and global digital transformation initiatives.
