Description

To carry out a blend of responsibilities as both a Receiving/Shipping Clerk and Material Handler, including loading and unloading trucks, as well as managing the documentation for receiving and shipping processes

  1. Calculator, PC, Hi/Lo, Transporter, Forklift, Hand Truck

  2. Must be able to work in weather extremes – hot and cold environments

  3. Must be safety conscious – aware of safety related issues and maintain a clean and safe work area.

  4. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, roll 640 pound drums on and off skids.

  5. Must possess a valid Hi/Lo license.

  6. Computer experience required (Microsoft Office/SAP/HKWMS).

Qualifications

1 Read requisitions, tickets, packaging labeling, skid and drum labeling, packing lists, and bills of lading to accurately select materials for movement and QA approval.

  1. Maintain WMS/SAP inventory integrity by keying in carton to pallet to quantity.

  2. Schedule shipments and deliveries from in-house facilities and outside vendors.

  3. Communicates with vendors, shippers and other internal departments via telephone/fax/email to schedule and obtain information, authorization or notification of discrepancies.

  4. Responsible for issuing proper paperwork according to Corporate S.O.P’s and the D.O.T.

  5. Reconcile errors utilizing WMS, SAP, edit reports, invoices, shipping/receiving documents and other manufacturing systems with actual materials.

  6. Input accurate data into Receiving/Shipping inventory systems.

  7. Properly ship/receive hazardous and non-hazardous materials using HKWMS and SAP.

  8. Investigate shipping/receiving discrepancies using WMS and SAP

  9. Performs other duties as assigned and required

Pay Range:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $22.75 to $37.75. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
