Overview
Job Title: Accounting Associate
Job Location: Melville, NY
Salary: $60,000-$65,000/yr DOE
Responsibilities
Process Accounts Payable vouchers
Process monthly AP entries
Process daily cash receipts
AR Collections
Verify timecards and time sheets weekly for payroll
Process weekly check runs and time sheet reports
Journal entries and analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with 0-2 years prior related experience
Cost and general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
At least a 3.0 GPA in Accounting/Finance major required
Advanced Excel required (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
Needs to be self-driven to look for improvements in processes
Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency
