Insight Global Workforce Management and Productivity Manager in Melrose Park, Illinois

Job Description

The Manager of Workforce Management and Productivity is responsible for developing and executing strategic workforce planning and labor productivity initiatives across the IL/IN Region of Trinity Health, including Loyola Medicine and Saint Joseph Health System. This role partners closely with nursing and clinical leadership to establish department-specific productivity goals, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in labor efficiency. The ideal candidate will leverage tools such as UKG Dimensions Healthcare Analytics, Tableau, and internal benchmarking systems to ensure accurate tracking of volumes and productive hours, appropriate targets, and performance to goal. This individual will also lead training, reporting, and performance review sessions, and collaborate with Trinity Health’s national workforce management team to enhance reporting strategies and productivity outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Partner with facility, division, nursing, clinical, and finance leaders to identify labor productivity improvement opportunities

· Develop and implement labor productivity targets aligned with Trinity Health service line standards

· Monitor daily and weekly productivity metrics using UKG Dimensions Healthcare Analytics and Tableau dashboards

· Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual workforce planning and productivity review sessions

· Deliver training to frontline leaders on productivity tools, data interpretation, and performance management

· Provide monthly KPIs and quarterly scorecards to leadership

· Support cost savings target setting and tracking with Regional Director of Finance Operations and hospital VPs of Finance

· Collaborate with Trinity Health’s national workforce management team on reporting strategies and productivity outcomes

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in workforce management, productivity analysis, or healthcare operations

• Experience working in a matrixed healthcare organization

• Proficiency with labor management systems (UKG Dimensions, Kronos, or similar)

• Strong ability to partner with clinical, nursing, and finance leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

MOST IMPORTANT: 3+ years of experience in Labor productivity management in healthcare industry **can't even be close or in another industry • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, Accounting, Finance, or related)

• 3+ years in a leadership or management role

• Strong background in healthcare operations and clinical collaboration

• Experience delivering training and leading performance review sessions

• Tableau or advanced analytics/reporting experience

• Experience with Vizient for benchmarking
