Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analysis Intern with an interest in aerospace and aviation systems to support analytical projects related to engineering, operations, and supply-chain data. This internship is designed for a senior-year student looking to apply academic knowledge to real-world aerospace datasets and gain exposure to industry practices.

The intern will work closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to analyze structured data, identify trends, and support decision-making using data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets related to aerospace components, maintenance records, marketplace data, or supply-chain metrics

  • Clean, normalize, and validate data from multiple sources (Excel, CSV, databases, ERP systems)

  • Create dashboards, charts, and summary reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Assist with trend analysis, cost analysis, and performance metrics

  • Support engineering or PMA-related projects through data extraction and documentation

  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, scripts, or queries to automate recurring analyses

  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate business or technical questions into data solutions

  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and findings clearly and concisely

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Senior-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Systems), Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Or a closely related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)

  • Experience with at least one of the following:

  • Python

  • SQL

  • Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools

  • Ability to work with structured technical data

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Interest in aviation/aerospace industry careers

  • U.S. work authorization
