The Opportunity:
The Solutions Architect brings deep expertise in solution development, technology, and market dynamics to design and deliver optimal, client-focused solutions. Leveraging industry insight and technical mastery, this role plays a key part in shaping innovative, high-value outcomes that meet client needs and drive business success.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity and can be based in either Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
The successful candidate must be eligible to hold a AGSVA security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Define current and future technology directions, frameworks, and solution approaches
Develop customer scenarios and conduct market and competitor assessments to inform solution design
Lead solution development for large, complex bids and tenders
Provide internal and external thought leadership on technology-based solutions
Present at industry forums, conferences, and communities of practice
Contribute to white papers, blogs, and other professional publications
Engage directly with clients to shape opportunities and understand requirements
Collaborate with delivery teams to design contemporary, high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations
Guide cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, high-quality submissions
Build and maintain strong client relationships and professional networks to drive growth opportunities
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
An undergraduate degree in Engineering or technology related field
Strong commercial acumen including financial awareness, customer focus, and practical problem-solving skills
Extensive knowledge of products and services, with the ability to deliver value-driven outcomes
Strong understanding of QHSE requirements, with a proactive approach to compliance and risk awareness
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset aligned with organisational values and ethical standards
A structured and methodical approach to work, including goal setting, progress tracking, and adherence to processes
Accountability and initiative, with a proactive attitude and focus on delivering results
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active ASGVA Clearance.
