WSP USA Intermediate Professional, Asset Management in Melbourne, Australia

The Opportunity

At WSP, we partner with our clients to improve the performance, sustainability, and long‑term value of their assets. Our Strategic Asset Management team delivers trusted advisory services across transport, energy, mining, water, facilities, and social infrastructure, working nationally and internationally as an integrated practice.

As a Consultant – Strategic Asset Management, you will work on a diverse range of advisory projects that support clients from strategy through to implementation. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Australia, New Zealand, and WSP’s global network, engaging directly with clients from the boardroom to the field. The role offers an excellent balance of technical contribution, project delivery, and client engagement, with strong opportunities for professional development and career progression.

We are currently looking for a Consultant to join our growing Strategic Asset Management Business in our WSP Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane offices.

Ideally, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in strategic asset management, asset maintenance, asset management systems, or related advisory roles.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess complex problems and develop practical solutions.

  • High‑quality written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and clear presentation of data to suit the intended audience.

  • The ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.

  • Sound organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • A commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and building your industry profile.

  • A relevant Bachelor’s or Post‑Graduate qualification, with asset management certification (CAMA, CPAM or equivalent) or a willingness to obtain certification.
