Insurance Broker – Tenders & New Partnerships

Join Aon’s Affinity business in a hands‑on role where your broking expertise will support the retention and acquisition of key clients, including working on tenders, panels and strategic opportunities across a diverse partner portfolio.

What the day will look like

In this role, you’ll work as an insurance broker within Aon’s Affinity business, supporting a portfolio of valued clients and partners. You’ll apply your broking and insurance regulatory knowledge as you build tenders and strategic submissions, helping secure and retain exciting client opportunities.

You’ll work closely with clients, brokers and bid teams to deliver strong client outcomes and will own the project management of the onboarding of new partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the servicing, retention and growth of key Affinity clients and partners

  • Contributing to tenders, panels and strategic submissions, including coordinating inputs and shaping responses

  • Running the project management of the onboarding of new partners

  • Working alongside brokers and subject‑matter experts to develop competitive, client‑focused insurance solutions

  • Managing relationships with associations, buying groups and affinity partners

  • Supporting compliance, contracting and governance processes linked to new and renewing partnerships

  • Producing insights and reporting to support client and tender strategy

  • Attending client meetings, tender briefings and industry events as required

  • Experience as an insurance broker (or similar role) within general insurance or financial services

  • Exposure to tenders, panels or structured submissions (hands‑on or supporting) is advantageous

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, client needs and broking processes

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
