ELEVEN BAR RANCH Range Livestock Worker in Meeker, Colorado

Position: Range Livestock Worker.

Requirements: A MINIMUM OF THREE MONTHS EXPERIENCE AS A GENERAL RANCH WORKER IS REQUIRED. Prospective workers must provide a reference from an employer reference who can verify the workers experience and satisfactory work performance. If related experience is older than 2 years, a second reference with contact information is required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a continued basis. There will be exposure to extreme temperatures. Will be extensive pushing or pulling, with extensive sitting or walking. Frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. 

Job Description: Attend to livestock feeds and waters livestock by tractor and/or team on range or at ranch headquarters lambing, maintaining sheep herd health. Builds & cleans corrals. Calve calves, vaccinations and pregnancy check cows. Moves livestock to pasture for grazing. Assist with castration of livestock, and identification marking. Maintain all fences, corrals, cabins, buildings, range improvements, and livestock equipment used for proper cattle management. Cleans livestock stalls and sheds, using disinfectant solutions, brushes and shovels. Must have knowledge of repairing of fence, irrigation knowledge and management, planting, cultivating and harvesting hay for livestock. Maintain ranch buildings. Maintain equipment in a working condition and observe safe practices. Assist with the shipping of cows and calves. Longer hours (night shifts during calving) and more days (up to 7 days per week) may be required when feeding cows supplemental rations, calving season, irrigation and haying season. Workers must be willing and able to perform all duties according to the employers requirements during the contract period. Workers will be expected to work in conditions normally associated with Colorado climatic conditions. All materials and tools will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.

Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week:  This job will generally require the worker to be on-call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Anticipated Period of Employment: 3/1/2026 thru 12/1/2026.

Pay: $2626.40 per month.
