Actalent QC Technician in Medley, Florida
Job Description
Currently looking for a QC Lead/Technician to join our team in Miami. The QC Lead/Technician will support precast and prestressed concrete solutions for a wide range of projects, including parking garages, multi-family housing, warehouses, and other total precast solutions. All testing will be performed on site at their plant in Medley.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality control and testing of compressive strength, slump, and air content to verify concrete mix compliance.
Inspection of dimensions and proper rebar and embed placement.
Monitoring curing conditions to insure proper strength developement.
Prepare written inspection reports and help maintain records.
Work with production teams and supervisors to address quality issues immediately.
Qualifications
2 years of construction materials testing experience
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician- Grade 1 Certification
Able to read and understand construction drawings and specification.
Fluent in English (oral/written)
Fluent in Spanish
Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medley, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
