Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of large machinery, including tooling and dies, and forming machines that produce screws and bolts. Your role will involve operating screw, tapping, and drill machinery, conducting part checks to ensure quality standards, assisting in tool setup, and recording statistical process control data. You will also perform wire-up activities, complete maintenance inspection sheets, and execute basic mathematical calculations. The ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions and to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and instructions is essential. Additional duties will be assigned as necessary.
Responsibilities
Operate large machines, including tooling and dies.
Manage forming machines for screws and bolts production.
Operate screw, tapping, and drill machinery.
Perform part checks using necessary gauges and visual inspections.
Assist in pulling tools during setup.
Record statistical process control data into Plex.
Conduct wire-up activities.
Complete maintenance inspection sheets.
Perform basic mathematical calculations.
Follow and understand written and verbal instructions.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and instructions.

Work Environment
Join a large international company with over 100 production employees at our Medina, OH site. Our manufacturing environment is equipped with modern and capable machinery, serving industries such as automotive, aerospace, and consumer products. The work environment is not temperature-controlled and can be hot during summer months. Safety gear, including steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs, is mandatory. Training is conducted through our 'Agrati University' program, which equips new employees to operate smaller machines, with training lasting from 1 to 4 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $18.90/hr.
