Job Description Position Purpose: Responsible for performing Stamping Press operations. Hourly or Salary Range: $17.75 - $20.75 Essential Functions: Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety Standards in the workplace All essential functions as required for Press Operator Level 1 Run Table Stamping Press, Web Stamping Press, and Bracket Dies, Rovetta 1 Adjust presses when necessary Use height gauges, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges Rework Fills out tags Fills out steel log sheet and Reads blueprints Always keeps work area clean Works in a safe manner always Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor Education and Training: High School Diploma Minimum Qualifications: Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and understand blueprints Must be able to use measuring equipment Must be able to work independently Ability to work well with others Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 25lbs Must be able stand continuously for 8 - 12 hours Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations Ability to work in tight places Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills Environmental Conditions: Ear and Eye protection always required in all production areas Exposure to noisy work environment Exposure to hot and humid conditions Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
