PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - INPATIENT PHARMACY

Full Time (1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period)
Day shift, every 3rd weekend

Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Performs multiple technician job duties of the Pharmacy Department including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.
Experience/Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Graduate of accredited technical school and current Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of one year’s experience is preferred.
Pharmacy Technician Certification is required within 1 year of hire.
