Position: Forestry Worker
Requirements: At least 18 due to government contracts. 3 months Commercial Brushsaw/Chainsaw experience. Applicants willing and qualified to perform work described and be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
Job Description: Pruning, pre-commercial thinning, brushing, piling, pile covering, tree planting, scalping, paper mulch application and trail construction. Incidental driving possible and other related Forestry Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org). Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Walk substantially (up to 15 miles/day), also stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 50lbs) thru rough terrain (non-trail).
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 35+ hrs per week. 7:00am-3:00pm
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
Anticipated Period of Employment: 4/1/2026 to 12/17/2026
