Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic where you will provide comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance support in a high-speed glass canning/bottling facility. You'll adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule and work on various food-grade equipment, including boilers, conveyors, and other manufacturing machinery. Your ability to mechanically troubleshoot, repair, and replace components will be crucial to maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance support in a high-speed glass canning/bottling facility.
Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules on all equipment.
Work on food-grade equipment, boilers, conveyors, and other manufacturing machinery.
Mechanically troubleshoot, repair, and replace components and equipment as needed.
Provide support in the maintenance of bottling, canning, and packaging equipment.
Essential Skills
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience with mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with welding and conveyor maintenance.
Electrical maintenance skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, Military, or College education.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience with processing, bottling, canning, or packaging equipment.
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems, welding, and equipment layout.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter, VFDs, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and various industrial equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67600.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Vacation/Benefits info Given 2 weeks PTO right away, a month after hire. from 1-6 years of service you will earn a total of 144 hours. Cannot carry hours over into the next year, but can at end of year cash in up to 40 hours of PTO. 32 hours of sick leave for the year - will be prorated based on when their start date is if they get the full amount right away. Retirement with 401k match up to 3% Health insurance is eligible on 1st of the month following your date of hire. Pay is biweekly
