Summary
Designs, develops, and maintains test procedures, hardware, and software used in electronic circuit board manufacturing. Provides technical support to reduce test failures, improve uptime, and ensure product quality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Review circuit board designs for testability
Support manufacturing with failure analysis and tester debugging
Recommend test methods and document procedures from design through production
Analyze test data; prepare reports and recommendations
Collaborate with customers on test equipment design, results, and RMA issues
Direct engineering/technical staff in building and maintaining test equipment
Coordinate activities involving installation, calibration, and operation of test systems
Define test conditions and sequences
Perform complex test engineering assignments and prepare technical reports
Use software/hardware tools to conduct testing
Support Jabil standards including ISO/QS processes
Train production test staff as needed
Follow all safety and company security procedures
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent experience and training accepted.
