Process Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers and managing end‑to‑end process oversight for Node and Server subassemblies. This role focuses on supporting, improving, and optimizing production processes for Nodes, JBOD systems, server mechanical rack builds, server cabling, and final product packaging.
The position requires strong leadership in process development, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. The Manufacturing Engineer will champion Lean manufacturing initiatives and facilitate Kaizen activities to enhance productivity, quality, and workflow performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
Own and oversee manufacturing processes for:
Node assemblies
JBOD systems
Server mechanical rack builds
Server cabling
Final product packaging
Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies (Kaizen, motion studies, waste elimination, etc.).
Organize and lead Kaizen events and other improvement-focused activities.
Develop process documentation, templates, and strategic operational standards.
Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership using PowerPoint and other tools.
Support production operations, including occasional overtime or weekend work when needed.
Collaborate closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to maintain smooth and efficient production flow.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mebane, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
PTO: 18 Paid Time Off days plus 4 floating holidays, totaling 22 days 8 company paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Retirement Savings Plan: Includes a 401K which offers $1 for $1 company match up to 6% of your contribution. You are eligible to contribute from your date of hire, with a 2-year vesting period for the company match.
