SECO/WARWICK Corporation MECHANICAL ENGINEER (MULTIPLE OPENINGS) in Meadville, Pennsylvania
Seco/Warwick Corporation seeks Mechanical Engineers (multiple openings) to work in Meadville, PA, to support the layout, design, and engineering of industrial heat processing equipment. Duties include: (i) working closely with Project Engineers and Sales to produce high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective designs; (ii) creating detailed drawings; (iii) processing change requests; (iv) estimating project scope; and (v) supporting fabrication with AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a directly related field.
Must have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) designing and drawing skills utilizing AutoCAD and/or Solidworks; (ii) basic design sketches and concepts; (iii) interpretation of drawings and design sketches; (iv) utilizing reference materials, including design standards, machinery handbooks, and national standards; (v) recording and analyzing experimental data; (vi) processing engineering change requests and approval requests through investigating the project requirements, soliciting information, designing decisions pertaining to project, and determining how the change will affect bills of materials; (vii) 2D & 3D Modeling; and (viii) FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and CFD, Computational Fluid Dynamics knowledge.
