2:45pm-11pm Monday-Friday $21.35
The PVC Pipe Fabrication Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and inspect PVC pipes according to production specifications. This role ensures quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed throughout the fabrication process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate fabrication machines such as cutting saws, belling machines, threading tools, and fusion welders.
• Measure, cut, and assemble PVC pipe sections to required lengths and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or work orders.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and conformance to standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure proper operation.
• Record production data and report any defects or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in pipe fabrication or a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
• Industrial or factory setting with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery
